Central Florida CHADD, origninally started as Orange County FL Chapter of CHADD, was started in 2011 at Dream Lake Elementary in Apopka FL by Chad Houvouras, who served as the school's behavior specialist. The chapter was reformed in 2023 as the Central Florida Chapter of CHADD with a collaboration between educators, Chad Houvouras and Alissa Plaisance. Our chapter currently offers free monthly online ADHD education and support meetings where we provide research based information provided by ADHD experts from variety of backgrounds.

CHADD Local Groups Need Your Support
CHADD has local groups throughout the United States. Each group offers programming or information specific to their geographic area. Local CHADD groups offer assistance for parents, children, young adults, adults and other stakeholders (psychologists, teachers, doctors, etc.). CHADD groups also provide advocacy, support, networking and information to those affected by ADHD in their communities.
