Join our growing ADHD/ADD community and help us shape the future of the New Orleans satellite group of CHADD - Children & Adults with ADHD! Our meetups are informal gatherings led by volunteer professionals with expertise in ADHD. Adults, parents/caregivers, and professionals who are impacted by ADHD (in themselves and/or a loved one) are encouraged to attend. We have separate meetups for adults with ADHD and parents/caregivers of children with ADHD, though anyone affected by ADHD is welcome at either or both monthly events.

All meetups are free and open to the public! We enjoy welcoming those who have not yet been or have recently been diagnosed, and supporting them on their journeys of self-discovery, from diagnosis to acceptance. Indeed, acceptance is empowering. Come meet others who just "get" you--effortlessly. We laugh--A LOT--often at ourselves, but never at each other. There is no commitment to join CHADD-- though you just might find it to be the best thing you do for yourself all week!

PLEASE VISIT OUR FACEBOOK PAGE AND SHARE IT WITH ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO HAS, THINKS THEY MAY HAVE, AND/OR CARES FOR SOMEONE WITH ADHD/ADD.

CHADD Local Groups Need Your Support

CHADD has local groups throughout the United States. Each group offers programming or information specific to their geographic area. Local CHADD groups offer assistance for parents, children, young adults, adults and other stakeholders (psychologists, teachers, doctors, etc.). CHADD groups also provide advocacy, support, networking and information to those affected by ADHD in their communities.

Ways you can support these efforts are as follows:

  • Donate to this effort

  • Contact your local CHADD group to advocate for support groups

  •  Contact your school district to host and support newly forming or current groups

  • Contact your local community foundation or other foundations in your area to support this effort

For questions on these, or any options to support CHADD please visit our web site at https://CHADD..org or contact the CHADD National office at (301) 306-7070.
