Chimereodo Okoroji recently earned her PhD in School Psychology from Michigan State University. She completed her clinical internship training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow for Academic Diversity. Her current research is focused on barriers and facilitators to engagement with integrated behavioral health services. Dr. Okoroji’s work aims to improve access to mental health care by engaging underrepresented communities in research to improve outcomes and service delivery. Her broader scientific interests include community-based research, racial identity development, effects of childhood experiences of discrimination on well-being, and parental racial socialization practices.
